The CUSAT Analytical Instruments Facility (CAIF) is a centralized digital platform developed to enhance and support academic and research excellence by providing seamless access to sophisticated scientific instruments maintained and used across various departments of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). It serves as a unified interface, that brings together state-of-the-art equipment, under one digital roof, enabling efficient resource sharing within and outside the university.

CAIF is designed to streamline and digitize the entire lifecycle of instrument access — from browsing available instruments, submitting booking requests, uploading required documents, and monitoring usage, to execute secure online payments. Through, this intuitive and user-centric web application, researchers, postgraduate students, doctoral scholars, and faculty members can effectively plan and manage their experimental needs, without the administrative burden, typically associated with equipment reservation and usage tracking.
With a strong emphasis on transparency, operational efficiency, and equitable access, the CAIF platform ensures, the optimal utilization of institutional research assets.
